At Fair Haven Community Health Care, we are seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our mission-driven team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a community health center model, partnering with a pre-eminent academic medical center. The ideal candidate will have experience practicing full-scope midwifery and be certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Certified Nurse Midwife will be responsible for providing care to essentially normal uterus-bearing individuals throughout the reproductive cycle, including peri- and post-menopausal women. Key duties include developing plans of care, using available resources for diagnosis and treatment, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a graduation from an accredited school of midwifery, certification by the American College of Nurse Midwives, and at least one year of experience practicing full-scope midwifery. Licenses as a Licensed Midwife in the State of Connecticut and Basic Life Support training are also required. Bi-lingual skills in Spanish and English are preferred.

What We Offer

Fair Haven Community Health Care offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
