Overview

Become a vital member of a dedicated team that positively impacts the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Quality Assurance Operational Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that the mission and objectives of BrightSpring Health Services are effectively implemented across operations, leading to exceptional quality outcomes. You will be working closely with consumers in supportive living environments, whether in group settings or independent living arrangements.

Key Responsibilities


• Deliver operational assistance to essential areas, collaborating with the Regional team to implement sustainable solutions through onsite support, remote guidance, and staff training/coaching.

• Educate operational and location staff on quality standards and expectations.

• Monitor survey outcomes and aid in survey readiness.

• Review and oversee quarterly safety committee documentation.

• Address infection control matters, including the use of PPE and cleaning protocols.

• Conduct audits of operational records and incident reports.

• Perform quality assessments of residences, ensuring compliance with staffing ratios, inventory levels, cleanliness, and conducting immediate onsite reviews to rectify any issues.

• Support, supervise, and coach locations to ensure the effective execution of Plans of Correction and address any agency-related punitive actions concerning survey quality.

• Oversee Rest Assured camera monitoring on a scheduled basis during after-hours operations.

• Facilitate active treatment monitoring.

• Provide both remote and onsite training for Executive Directors and Program Managers, focusing on critical quality initiatives while adhering to regulations and internal policies.

• Train and mentor various operational roles based on individual skill sets.

• Manage the overall team network site to ensure the availability of accurate data and resources.

• Oversee the policy and procedure manual in collaboration with Regional Directors.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications


• An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Services is preferred; relevant experience in the Human Services sector may substitute for educational requirements on a year-for-year basis.

• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Capability to work in group home or independent living environments.

• Proficient communication skills (both verbal and written) with all levels of personnel, both internal and external to the organization.

• Ability to manage the physical demands of the role, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and prolonged walking.

• Must maintain state regulatory certifications as mandated by state/program requirements.

• Extensive travel is necessary.

• A non-traditional work schedule is anticipated.
