The Quality Assurance Operational Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that the mission and strategic objectives of BrightSpring Health Services are effectively implemented across our operations, driving exceptional quality outcomes. You will provide support to consumers in various living environments, including group homes and independent living settings.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver operational assistance to essential areas, collaborating with the Regional team to implement sustainable solutions through onsite support, remote guidance, and staff training.
• Educate operational and site staff on quality standards and expectations.
• Monitor survey outcomes and aid in survey readiness.
• Review and oversee quarterly safety committee documentation.
• Address infection control measures, including the use of PPE and cleaning protocols.
• Conduct audits of operational records and incident reports.
• Perform quality assessments of living environments, ensuring compliance with staffing ratios, supply levels, and cleanliness, while providing immediate feedback for improvements.
• Support and coach locations to ensure the implementation of corrective action plans and address any agency-related survey quality issues.
• Oversee Rest Assured camera monitoring on a scheduled basis during off-hours.
• Facilitate active treatment oversight.
• Provide both remote and onsite training to Executive Directors and Program Managers, focusing on critical quality initiatives while adhering to regulations and internal policies.
• Train and mentor various operational roles based on individual skill sets.
• Manage the overall team network site to ensure the availability of accurate data and resources.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors to maintain the policy and procedure manual.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Services is preferred; relevant experience in the Human Services sector may substitute for formal education on a year-for-year basis.
• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Ability to work effectively in group home or independent living environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of personnel, both internal and external.
• Capability to manage the physical demands of the role, including bending, lifting, and prolonged walking.
• Must maintain state regulatory certifications as required by program standards.
• Extensive travel is required.
• Flexibility in work schedule is expected.
