Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate food preparation and presentation to meet quality and presentation standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation.
- Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to maintain profitability.
- Develop and implement menu changes to ensure variety and quality.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive food preparation experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Culinary arts degree or equivalent experience.
- Food safety certification.
- Leadership and management experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
