About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Holy Name Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food production, including menu planning, purchasing, ordering, inventory management, and record keeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage the food preparation process, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to our patients and staff.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs, while maintaining a focus on healthy eating and high-quality ingredients.
  • Oversee the training and development of culinary staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Administrative Director to establish operating standards, implement quality control measures, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the kitchen is well-equipped, organized, and maintained, with a focus on safety, sanitation, and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, meal and food tests, and communicate results to staff.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Culinary Degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a sous chef or related culinary position; Cook Chill experience preferred.
  • Servsafe Manager Certificate required.
