Job Summary

Macy's is seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the day-to-day talent activities and drive business results. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the candidate experience, partnering with leadership and regional Talent Manager to schedule and arrange onsite and external job fairs, and establishing relationships with facility leadership and regional partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Talent Acquisition Activities
    • Independently lead the day-to-day talent activities to drive business results.
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage Candidate Experience
    • Lead the candidate experience, including corresponding with applicants, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a seamless offer and onboarding process.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with Leadership
    • Partner with leadership and regional Talent Manager to schedule and arrange onsite and external job fairs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results.
  • Establish Relationships
    • Establish relationships with facility leadership and regional partners to drive business results.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify Hiring Needs
    • Identify hiring needs by reviewing reports and communicating with facility leadership the status of open positions against targeted headcount.
    • Develop and implement effective hiring strategies to meet business needs.
  • Manage Job Postings
    • Manage and maintain job postings and disposition of candidate requisitions.
    • Ensure accurate and timely posting of job openings.
  • Ensure Compliance
    • Ensure company required compliance audits, including I-9 reverifications, document retention, and required postings are updated when needed.
    • Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to meet business needs.
  • Other Duties
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Minimum of two years of Human Resources, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Focused on upholding Macy's dedication to fulfilling ideals of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
    • Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.
    • Self-starter in adapting quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
    • Proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Position may require prolonged periods of standing/walking around supply chain facility and/or department.
    • May require working with multiple computer screens and programs simultaneously for extended periods of time.
    • May involve, reaching stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
    • Ability to travel within division/market of responsibility with periodic need to travel overnight based on the needs of the business.
    • Frequently lift/move up to 10 lbs.
