Role Responsibilities

DISH is seeking a seasoned Senior Product Strategist to join our Marketing Technology division within the Digital Product organization. This position will be accountable for the development, launch, and management of product use cases across DISH's various brands. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert on Marketing Technology, particularly the Adobe suite, collaborating with key stakeholders both within and outside the Marketing, Digital Product, Marketing Technology, and Engineering teams to implement and operationalize the Customer Data Platform (CDP) across DISH's infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for technology and a commitment to creating impactful solutions. We are in search of a proactive leader with a proven history of success in the Marketing Technology field, a drive to innovate, and a knack for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly engage with stakeholders to comprehend their objectives, goals, and timelines.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business operations and technical teams.
  • Lead product strategy, roadmap development, and product lifecycle management.
  • Create a detailed roadmap to synchronize development efforts and ensure features are prioritized appropriately.
  • Define use cases and acceptance criteria for development teams to ensure a shared understanding of the desired outcomes.
  • Assist testing teams in creating and implementing test cases that fully address the acceptance criteria.
  • Leadership Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to communicate the vision, progress, and impact of shared capabilities and user experience initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the organization to understand the Adobe suite.
  • Work with Technical Product Managers of each platform component to ensure their roadmaps align with the overall strategy.
Qualifications and Experience

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, Information Systems, or a related discipline. An MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
  • Over 6 years of experience in implementing marketing technology platforms at scale, particularly in the Marketing Technology sector.

Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of the Adobe marketing suite and other Marketing Technology-related tools.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Customer Data Platform (CDP), Adobe Target, Launch, and Analytics.
  • Proven experience (6+ years) in product or technical program management in Marketing Technology or closely related fields, with a strong emphasis on implementation, process enhancement, and user-centric solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in product strategy, roadmap development, and product lifecycle management.
  • Technical proficiency and understanding of the Marketing Technology ecosystem and tools, with a history of driving enhancements and product development.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with IT engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and successfully implement system improvements.
  • Demonstrated capability to present compelling business case recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborative approach, with the ability to lead and influence diverse teams.
  • Ability to build connections and relationships with key partners and colleagues across the organization.
  • Self-starter with the ability to navigate a complex environment.
  • Working knowledge of solution architecture principles.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including IT teams, marketing teams, and senior management.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for operational excellence, continuous improvement, and driving sales growth.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
Compensation

Salary Range: $96,250.00 - $137,500.00 per year.

The salary range provided is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is influenced by the role's location and may change based on work location. Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment screening, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
