Job Overview

Emery Jensen Distribution, LLC is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the Northeast region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new high-value customers for Emery Jensen across key customer channels: Pro Lumber, Paint, and Hardware Stores/Home Centers.
  • Identify prospects, develop a pipeline, determine needs of specific prospects, and share the Emery Jensen value proposition to meet those needs.
  • Establish relationships with industry organizations, vendor partners, and prospective customers as an ambassador for Emery Jensen.
  • Work closely with the Emery Jensen sales team to ensure seamless transition of newly opened accounts to Territory Managers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in new business development or territory management.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and proven success track record.
  • PREFERRED: Knowledge/experience in the hard-lines industry and existing book of business.
Compensation and Benefits:

$90,000 - $115,000 per year. Comprehensive health coverage, generous 401(k) retirement savings plan, paid time off, flexible working arrangements, company car, phone, and fuel card provided.
