Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing patient accounts, resolving billing issues, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient accounts, including billing, insurance verification, and payment processing.
  • Respond to patient inquiries, resolve billing issues, and provide accurate information about patient accounts.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely billing and insurance processing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive experience throughout the billing and insurance process.
  • Stay up-to-date on billing and insurance regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • One year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Basic computer skills and data entry experience, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines.
