The Colorado State University Pueblo Library plays a vital role in achieving this mission by providing integrated information literacy across the curriculum and offering collections, spaces, and services that facilitate learning, research, and innovation. We actively collaborate with Information Technology Services (IT), tutoring services, and other units to provide comprehensive academic support for students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide research assistance and instruction to students, faculty, and staff
- Design and implement user services for the library, including orientation and tours for new faculty and students
- Collaborate with faculty to embed information literacy into the curriculum and support course-specific needs
- Develop and deliver instructional materials, including research guides, instructional videos, and online tutorials
- Participate in library assessment processes and gather instruction statistics for annual reporting
- Master's degree in Library Science (ALA accredited) or related archives discipline
- Demonstrated ability to relate to and commitment to serving diverse populations and learners
- Coursework or experience in information literacy instruction, instructional design, and assessment
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
- Enthusiasm and commitment to student success services and programs
Colorado State University Pueblo is a comprehensive state university with an enrollment of 4,000 students.
