We are seeking a highly skilled Client Conflicts Researcher to join our team at Holland & Hart LLP. As a Client Conflicts Researcher, you will play a critical role in supporting our firm's risk management function by identifying and reporting potential conflicts of interest.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct due diligence research to screen and report findings of all names connected to potential and existing clients.
- Utilize conflicts database to identify potential conflicts and ensure compliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct and applicable federal law.
- Prepare comprehensive due diligence research reports outlining potential risk issues and advising firm constituents on findings.
- Search and prepare conflict reports on names submitted through various search requests, highlighting potential legal and business conflicts.
- Evaluate and make decisions relating to conflict search results to determine search result relevancy and prepare conflict reports based on findings.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 4 years of comparable law firm or research experience, or a Paralegal Certificate and 2 years of comparable law firm or research experience.
- High level of proficiency using personal computers, database software, Windows, and Word.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures, apply good judgment, think independently, and seek advice when necessary.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with personnel at all levels within the firm.
Holland & Hart LLP offers a competitive salary range of $24.21 to $40.36 per hour, a 37.5-hour scheduled work week, and a robust wellness program. Full-time employees become eligible for benefits on the date of hire, including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, EAP, STD, and LTD insurance. We also offer voluntary income protection benefits and a 401(k)-retirement plan with a company match.
