Job Summary

The University of Denver is seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Instructional Curriculum Coach to join our team. As a key member of our research study, you will work closely with our Principal Investigators and Project Director to implement and evaluate an early childhood curriculum. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting fidelity of implementation, coaching teachers, and documenting classroom observations and coaching practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with curriculum development, training, and teaching teams to ensure seamless implementation of the curriculum.
  • Model implementation of the curriculum and provide technical assistance to teachers.
  • Monitor and document teacher implementation, completing coaching logs and teacher debrief forms regularly.
  • Utilize video equipment and virtual collaboration software to record program implementation.
  • Meet regularly with project stakeholders to discuss teacher progress and ways to support implementation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Research, Social Science, or related field.
  • Experience working in early childhood settings.
  • Experience as a director, instructional coach, and/or classroom teacher.
  • English language fluency.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • Spanish language fluency.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
Work Environment

This position is partially remote, with the bulk of the work expected to take place in classrooms in Duval County, Florida.

Physical Activities
  1. Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period.
  2. Must observe Classroom activities and interactions.
  3. Must be able to stand in a classroom setting for up to 4 hours at a time.
  4. Daily driving to school sites required.
