Position Overview:

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. The PM acts as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, fostering collaboration and communication among team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with HITT's safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets for assigned initiatives.
  • Prepare and collaborate on pre-construction proposals and packages.
  • Facilitate project meetings, establish milestones, and generate monthly reports for stakeholders.
  • Implement job processes, including RFIs, submittals, and payment applications, while managing subcontractor agreements.
  • Oversee project scheduling, quality control, and logistics throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Efficiently manage the project closeout process.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and articulate how our services can meet those needs.
  • Supervise and mentor support roles such as assistant project managers and administrative staff.
  • Collaborate closely with the project superintendent and site operations team.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma is required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, particularly with a general contractor.
  • Proven experience in project management, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, ProCore, and BlueBeam.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage resources effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of market trends and pricing in the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
