Key Responsibilities:As a Senior Engineering Program Manager (EHS), you will:
- Develop and manage projects while leveraging your expertise to foster a collaborative environment within the project team.
- Drive occupational and environmental health assessments to support physiologic and environmental monitoring initiatives aligned with a Strategic Plan.
- Identify project gaps and propose solutions utilizing best practices from Program Management Office methodologies to craft a project plan that meets stakeholder expectations and delivers results within budget.
Specific Functions Include:
- Defining project scope and objectives to ensure clarity among team members regarding expectations.
- Preparing, maintaining, and submitting comprehensive activity and progress reports, along with time tracking and management documentation.
- Articulating issues effectively, bringing together the necessary personnel to resolve them, and ensuring that problems are addressed and closed appropriately.
- Proactively monitoring project member progress against commitments to identify potential issues early.
- Establishing, teaching, and enforcing sound project management practices.
- Utilizing a diverse toolkit of techniques to break down complex activities into manageable tasks that are documented, monitored, and controlled.
- Enhancing team capabilities through lessons-learned reviews upon project completion.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Self-motivated, quick-thinking, and assertive.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Possessing excellent writing and communication abilities.
- Able to thrive under pressure and adapt to change in dynamic environments.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant scientific field.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of operational experience in Federal Contracting.
- Project Management Professional certification (e.g., PMP) is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Master's Degree in a relevant scientific field.
The compensation range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000, with actual compensation subject to variation based on factors such as education, experience, skillset, and location.
