Position Overview:

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within financial constraints, and to the specified quality standards. The PM acts as the primary leader for the project, fostering collaboration among team members and advocating for both business and client interests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with HITT's safety standards and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Develop and oversee project budgets for all assigned initiatives.
  • Prepare and collaborate on pre-construction RFP packages.
  • Facilitate project meetings, establish milestones, and generate monthly reports for stakeholders.
  • Implement job processes, including RFIs, submittals, and payment applications, while managing subcontractor change orders.
  • Oversee project scheduling, quality control, and overall logistics.
  • Efficiently manage the project closeout process.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and explain how our services can meet those needs.
  • Supervise support roles, including assistant project managers and safety team members.
  • Collaborate closely with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial construction, preferably with a general contractor.
  • Proven experience in project management, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in industry-specific software, including Microsoft Office Suite, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Skilled in organizing resources effectively to meet deadlines and achieve results.
  • Knowledgeable about current market trends and pricing conventions.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to facilitate decision-making processes.
  • Positive attitude and passion for the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proactive in seeking responsibilities and opportunities for improvement.
