Role Description:

We are in search of a Senior Project Coordinator to join our technology-driven initiative supporting a pivotal government client. This role will involve close collaboration with fellow project leaders and various technical teams, including software engineering and infrastructure, to evaluate requirements, manage resources, and deliver successful projects for the client. A key competency for success is the ability to adapt project management methodologies and essential IT operational processes to work effectively in a non-traditional environment.

The Senior Project Coordinator should demonstrate the following skills:

Establishes and executes standards-based project management frameworks, customized to operate efficiently in this context, ensuring the successful deployment of new technologies and services. Aids in planning efforts, including roadmap creation and systems integration, and offers insights to the client regarding task management. Coordinates the development of project deliverables and outcomes. Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership for assigned project tasks. Engages regularly with a diverse range of clients and contractors, which may involve organizing meetings and preparing project plans, reports, and status briefings. Participates in client meetings and may act as the primary point of contact. Liaises with vendors, other agencies, and client personnel on behalf of the client.

Additional Qualifications:

Background in Information Technology or Computer Science. Practical experience managing an Operations Center. Hands-on experience with Systems Engineering or Systems Architecture. Previous experience overseeing client network Approval and Accreditation processes. Familiarity with emerging communication technologies. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Proficiency in Jira Software for project planning and tracking. Experience in a technical setting managing multiple software development projects or handling large data volumes. Proven ability to develop and implement strategies for client organizations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant business or technical field (preferably Information Technology or Computer Science), or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. A minimum of five (5) years of relevant technical project management experience. Demonstrated practical experience in project management principles using recognized tools and techniques in executing IT tasks, including scheduling, execution, and monitoring/control.

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
