Human Resources Manager

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations:

  • Act as the primary contact for all HR-related inquiries from staff and management.
  • Build and maintain positive rapport with employees while addressing their concerns.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and encourage a respectful workplace atmosphere.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Oversee the entire recruitment process, from crafting job advertisements to issuing offer letters.
  • Conduct thorough background checks, including drug testing protocols.
  • Coordinate orientation sessions for new hires to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

Benefits Administration:

  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health and retirement plans.
  • Assist staff with inquiries regarding benefits and enrollment processes.
  • Collaborate with external partners to enhance benefits offerings.

Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to federal and state employment regulations.
  • Monitor and manage the Drivers Safety Program.
  • Administer various types of leave and process claims as necessary.

Performance Management:

  • Support the performance evaluation process.
  • Provide advisory support to supervisors on performance-related issues.
  • Implement a talent development framework to facilitate employee growth.

Employee Engagement:

  • Organize and manage employee events and recognition initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee luncheons, outings, and meetings.
  • Assess and enhance employee morale within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of current employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SHRM certification is preferred.
