Role Overview:


As a Marketing Product Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Product Management and Marketing teams at Current Lighting. Your contributions will be essential in driving our product marketing and brand strategy initiatives.

The Marketing Product Specialist will assist in executing project deliverables and tactically implementing new product launches, all while enhancing brand visibility across various product categories.

With a solid grasp of the product marketing landscape, branding principles, and a genuine enthusiasm for marketing, you will help develop and execute actionable marketing strategies that foster growth for Current Lighting and its diverse brand identities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ongoing Product Initiatives: Support and facilitate the execution of cross-category product initiatives, including collateral updates, website enhancements, trade show assistance, and content creation. Collaborate with various teams to ensure cohesive design, messaging, and strategic alignment.
  • Cross-Category Marketing Collaboration: Work alongside Product Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to create effective marketing content that supports brand initiatives.
  • Brand Commercialization Support: Aid in the enhancement of individual product brands by collaborating with Product Marketing Managers to develop consistent messaging, campaigns, and visual identities that align with brand guidelines.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Assist Product Marketing Managers in producing materials related to the product lifecycle, from inception to discontinuation, including updates and improvements.
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with Product Marketing Managers, Product Managers, and Sales teams to create resources that effectively communicate brand messaging and strategic objectives to our target audiences.
  • Brand Performance Analysis: Support the preparation of analytics to track and assess the success of brand marketing initiatives. Generate reports, analyze outcomes, and present findings to senior leadership.

Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in Product Marketing
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
  • Experience in supporting product marketing and brand development
  • Ability to contribute to marketing plans that include strategy, customer research, competitive analysis, and messaging
  • Proven track record of driving excellence within product management teams
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product development cycle
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong decision-making and multitasking abilities under tight deadlines

Compensation and Benefits:

The position offers a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, potential bonuses, benefits, 401k contributions, time off, and recognition awards. The salary range is $55,000-$60,000.
