Position Overview
The Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing various aspects of the finance department, including financial evaluation, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, investor relations, and M&A due diligence, along with other ad-hoc financial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the executive management team by maintaining and analyzing critical financial and operational metrics across the expanding store network.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) through the regular delivery of internal and external reporting packages that summarize financial and operational outcomes.
- Track performance against budget and report findings to management and the board on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Engage in the annual budgeting process to create comprehensive budgets by location.
- Develop intricate financial operating models and financing strategies for the entire organization.
- Collaborate with the Real Estate function to assess potential new markets from demographic, competitive, operational, and return on capital perspectives.
- Analyze capital structure options and the cash flow implications of potential financing arrangements.
- Conduct pro-forma ROI analyses to evaluate specific opportunities for new market entry.
- Perform benchmarking analyses to compare the performance of new stores against historical trends.
- Monitor inventory levels across various stores, departments, products, and SKUs to inform appropriate net working capital investments.
- Conduct due diligence on potential acquisition targets and oversee third-party advisor workstreams throughout M&A processes.
- Prepare materials for internal and parent company use.
- Provide special project support to the CEO, CFO, COO, EVPs, and parent company on significant initiatives.
