Position Overview:

The Zaxby's Support Center is seeking a dedicated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist to enhance our Financial Planning & Analytics team. This role is pivotal in delivering financial insights and analytical support to various cross-functional teams and departments throughout the organization.

The FP&A Specialist will engage in hands-on analysis, contributing to well-informed financial decisions that drive the business forward.


Work Environment:

This position is based in Atlanta, GA, and offers a hybrid work schedule, which includes three days in the office each week.

Key Responsibilities:

The essential duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting analysis and providing recommendations regarding the financial implications of business decisions.
  • Delivering presentations on financial outcomes and strategic plans to business partners across the organization.
  • Collaborating with various departments to assess, prioritize, and allocate resources effectively for projects and initiatives.
  • Performing both ad hoc and routine analyses, including menu management, new product evaluations, limited-time offers (LTOs), pricing strategies, cost of goods sold (COGS), labor analysis, competitor benchmarking, return on investment (ROI), real estate assessments, and store portfolio strategies.
  • Enhancing data pipelines, tools, and processes that support ongoing analytical efforts.
  • Reporting on key metrics, analyses, and performance indicators to provide leadership with insights into business impacts and recommendations for optimizing results.
  • Developing process improvements that leverage technology to enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Facilitating communication across functions and departments to ensure effective collaboration, coordination, and timely delivery of analyses.

  • Ability to present financial data in a clear and impactful manner to support business decisions.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 1-2 years of finance-related experience; experience in the restaurant or retail sector is preferred.
