Position Overview:
The Zaxby's Support Center is seeking a dedicated Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist to become a vital member of our Financial Planning & Analytics team.

This role is essential for delivering comprehensive financial and analytical support to various cross-functional teams and departments throughout the organization.

As we continue to expand, the FP&A Specialist will play a crucial role in producing insightful analyses that drive informed financial decisions.

This position supports a hybrid work model, requiring in-office attendance three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting analyses, offering recommendations, and providing solutions related to the financial performance of potential business decisions.
- Preparing and delivering presentations regarding financial outcomes and strategic plans to business partners across the organization.
- Collaborating with various departments to identify, assess, and prioritize projects and initiatives to optimize resource allocation.
- Performing both ad hoc and routine analyses encompassing menu management, new product introductions, limited-time offers (LTOs), pricing strategies, cost of goods sold (COGS), labor analysis, competitor benchmarking, return on investment (ROI), real estate considerations, and store portfolio assessments.
- Enhancing data pipelines, tools, and processes that facilitate ongoing analysis.
- Reporting on metrics, analyses, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide leadership with insights into business impacts and guidance for optimizing results.
- Developing process improvements that lead to innovative technological solutions for enhancing reporting efficiency.
- Fostering communication across various functions and departments to ensure effective collaboration, coordination, analysis, and timely delivery of outputs.

- Proficiency in manipulating and leveraging large datasets for meaningful reporting.
- Ability to identify and implement strategic objectives within designated areas of responsibility.
- Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset for problem identification and resolution.
- Expertise in financial modeling and analysis.
- Demonstrated curiosity and professional ownership.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in packaging and presenting financial data in an executive format to drive business decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in finance; experience in the restaurant or retail industry is preferred.
