Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Manager of Regulatory Product Compliance to join our expanding Regulatory Product Compliance team in North America, becoming an integral part of our Global Team. This position will concentrate on Consumer Protection regulations and offers a unique, hands-on opportunity to influence Wise's mission while advancing your career as a product compliance expert.

Your Role:

Wise has already transformed the landscape of international money transfers. Our clients can manage their finances with the world's first true multi-currency platform. Your role will be to support our North American product team in launching new offerings and expanding our footprint in the U.S. and Canada by leveraging your in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on Product Development: Work alongside Product Teams to create risk-aware products, processes, and controls.
  • Design Customer-Centric Solutions: Ensure product compliance while developing practical and user-friendly solutions.
  • Conduct Regulatory Analysis: Perform pre-launch and ongoing compliance assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Manage Regulatory Risks: Identify and oversee regulatory risks associated with all products offered in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Enhance Control Environment: Develop effective controls focused on Consumer Protection topics and evaluate residual risk exposure.
  • Maintain Compliance Awareness: Collaborate with Compliance colleagues to keep Product Teams informed of the latest regulations.
  • Audit and Issue Management: Conduct audits and manage issues to mitigate regulatory risks.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Represent Wise in discussions with Banking Partners and Central Banks, articulating our products and compliance framework.
