Position Overview:
As an Air Quality Compliance Analyst, you will play a vital role in assessing air emission sources and ensuring adherence to both state and federal environmental standards. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the protection of Nebraska's air quality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough inspections of air emission sources to evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Address and investigate public complaints related to air quality issues.
• Conduct detailed reviews of pre-inspection files and maintain accurate facility databases.
• Analyze draft construction and operating permits, providing critical feedback on compliance matters.
• Document any violations and assist in the enforcement processes of the Department.
• Prepare and review technical reports and papers to address inquiries from various stakeholders.
• Analyze data and prepare reports for presentation to the public and regulated entities.
• Engage with government representatives and the public to clarify environmental policies and programs.
• Serve as an expert witness during hearings, providing testimony based on data collection and analysis.
• Stay informed on emerging environmental issues by reviewing relevant guidance documents and regulations.
• Collaborate with a team to organize and present educational seminars and workshops for the public.

Qualifications:
