Job Overview:
As an Air Quality Compliance Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections of air emission sources to assess compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Address and investigate complaints related to air quality.
• Conduct thorough reviews of pre-inspection files, document findings, and maintain an accurate facility database.
• Evaluate draft construction and operating permits, providing critical feedback on compliance matters.
• Document any violations and assist in the enforcement process as needed.
• Prepare and review technical reports and papers to address inquiries from various stakeholders.
• Analyze data and prepare reports for public dissemination and regulatory compliance.
• Engage with government representatives and the public to clarify environmental quality policies.
• Serve as an expert witness in hearings, substantiating findings from data analysis.
• Stay informed on emerging environmental issues through review of relevant documents and publications.
