Job Title: Audio Visual Technical Coordinator

At the California ISO, we are seeking a highly skilled Audio Visual Technical Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of our Audio Visual (A/V) systems throughout our campus at both Folsom and Lincoln locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair A/V equipment at our facilities, including installation, user training, and ensuring security requirements are met.
  • Participate in the organization's end-to-end video production lifecycle, including pre-production, production, and post-production stages.
  • Interact with customers to plan and manage A/V logistics for projects or events, monitoring performance and assisting during the production phase.
  • Integrate emerging media technology and practices into daily activities and procedures where applicable.
  • Coordinate office and public audio and visual setups, assisting campus operations with room setups, testing, and production support.
Requirements:
  • An Associate's degree (AA, AS) or equivalent education, training, or experience in Communication Studies, Digital Media, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Equivalent years of education and training, plus two (2) or more years related experience.
  • Experience supporting complex A/V/Multi-media systems in a professional environment, including video teleconferencing, network operations, and multimedia production.
  • Understanding of major video and multimedia production equipment and control systems, such as CRESTRON, AMX, EXTRON, and video and audio protocols.
  • Excellent customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills, and a demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Ability to use deductive reasoning and analytical thinking with sound judgment and decision-making skills, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
