Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Audio Visual Technical Coordinator to join our team at the California ISO. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Audio Visual systems throughout our campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair Audio Visual equipment at our Folsom and Lincoln facilities.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Audio Visual systems, including video production equipment.
  • Provide user training and ensure security requirements are met.
  • Participate in the organization's end-to-end video production lifecycle, including pre-production, production, and post-production stages.
  • Coordinate office meetings and events, including setup and testing of Audio Visual equipment.
  • Monitor performance and assist during the production phase.
  • Ensure all tasks and quality objectives are met.
Requirements
  • An Associate's degree (AA, AS) or equivalent education, training, or experience in Communication Studies, Digital Media, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Equivalent years of education and training, plus two (2) or more years related experience.
  • Experience supporting complex Audio Visual/Multi-media systems in a professional environment.
  • Two years of experience in video teleconferencing, network operations, and multimedia production.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of major video and multimedia production equipment and control systems, such as CRESTRON, AMX, EXTRON, and video and audio protocols.
  • Knowledge of Audio Visual pre-production, production, and post-production methods and concepts.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to use deductive reasoning and analytical thinking with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
