SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER - CONSUMER CREDIT SOLUTIONS
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Senior Product Manager ("SPM") for Consumer Credit Solutions is tasked with overseeing a comprehensive suite of Consumer Credit products, including the Crystal Infinite Card, Flex Rewards Card, Cash Back Card, and Now Card. The SPM is dedicated to identifying, defining, launching, promoting, and evaluating products and services that foster new account relationships, enhance existing ones, and optimize profitability.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Assume ownership of all client-facing disclosures and product-related documentation, analyze financial performance, maintain product policies, and oversee fee waivers/exceptions. Coordinate pricing adjustments, handle complaint reviews, and facilitate issue resolution for clients and colleagues. Develop and implement business plans with well-defined requirements, constraints, ownership, and deliverables. Monitor competitive landscape and integrate insights into strategic planning.
  • Collaborate across various functions including Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Sales, and Finance, serving as the end-to-end subject matter expert for Consumer Credit products.
  • Identify, assess, and execute strategies to enhance product performance, profitability, and competitiveness.
  • Manage assigned products and product lines effectively.
  • Evaluate and implement opportunities for product enhancements and development, identified through market analysis, client feedback, and internal suggestions.
  • Prepare and present reports and analyses on assigned products to Bank Management, focusing on market trends, competitive issues, pricing strategies, and profitability.
  • Stay informed on competition, regulations, and market dynamics related to assigned products.
  • Develop informational materials on product features, benefits, requirements, and pricing, and conduct training sessions as necessary.
  • Review product pricing annually for all assigned products, making recommendations and implementing changes as needed.
  • Oversee development activities to ensure alignment with product objectives, budget constraints, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Recommend and implement initiatives to reduce costs while ensuring optimal output and quality. Provide guidance on technical issues and priorities.
  • Participate in product evaluations and provide recommendations for necessary changes.
  • Act as a product expert for various issues, offering advice on sales strategies and operational support.
  • Manage the Product Management aspect of acquisition conversions, including product mapping and support.
  • Represent the Bank in civic and community engagements, as well as industry-related organizations.
  • Foster strong relationships with colleagues to ensure integrated processes that support customer service expectations.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant banking laws, regulations, and internal policies, ensuring compliance.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in product management.
  • Minimum of 3 years in banking or financial services.
  • Minimum of 2 years managing medium to large-scale projects.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation capabilities, with extensive industry knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining positive business relationships.
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Access and other advanced tools is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage complex products and services effectively.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of banking operations.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
Compensation: Starting base salary: $87,027 - $138,965 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
