Role Overview:

The Salesforce Product Owner plays a crucial role within the Commercial Systems Team, focusing on enhancing operational effectiveness for various business stakeholders. This role operates within an agile framework, prioritizing, planning, and managing the execution of strategic projects aimed at improving the Salesforce platform's value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary business authority for Salesforce initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor product owners and scrum teams in the development of Salesforce solutions.
  • Assist product owners in prioritizing features based on business value for each development cycle.
  • Ensure product owners advocate for their respective business stakeholders.
  • Transform stakeholder feedback into actionable insights and strategic plans.
  • Guide product owners in effective stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Coach product owners on articulating epics and features clearly.
  • Support the rollout strategy for new features, including communication and training plans.
  • Oversee the Salesforce Support and Marketing Support Teams in case management and issue resolution.
  • Provide ongoing support for data migration strategies and risk mitigation planning.
  • Prioritize initiatives and ensure alignment across scrum teams as needed.
  • Drive innovation for operational efficiency and comprehensive customer insights.
  • Ensure all impacted business teams are aligned for each initiative.
  • Regularly communicate the value delivered to business stakeholders, emphasizing lean methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Salesforce product owner or manager, utilizing agile methodologies.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on coaching product owners.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities with a strong desire to challenge the status quo.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to foster and maintain productive relationships across various departments.
  • Creative thinking skills with an emphasis on business architecture.
  • Strong collaboration skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
