Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce CPQ Solutions Architect to join our team at TEPHRA. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and a proven track record in implementing Salesforce CPQ solutions.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Salesforce solution architect, with a focus on Salesforce CPQ, including at least 5 full life cycle implementations.
  • Expertise in at least two of the following Salesforce modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud, with mandatory experience in Salesforce CPQ.
  • At least 3 successful project implementations utilizing Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick) that leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform.
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist and Quote to Cash certification are essential.
  • Strong functional knowledge of the Lead to Cash process, particularly in Quote-to-Cash, Configuration, Product Catalog/Modeling, Pricing, Quoting, and CLM.
  • Ability to understand customer technical requirements and translate them into Salesforce CPQ architectural solutions.
  • Proven ability to share best practices and act as a consultative partner to clients throughout project duration.
  • Experience with Commerce, Configuration, Output, SFDC integration, and product catalog/price list integration.
  • Salesforce developer/admin certification is required, along with 3+ years of Salesforce development experience using Apex, VisualForce, and Angular JS.
  • Proficient in Web 2.0 Development technologies including JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS, JSP, Servlets, and Struts.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with CRM toolsets and familiarity with JavaScript, Java, Rules Engines, Object Modeling, or XML.
  • Understanding of frameworks such as React and Angular is advantageous.
  • Experience with JIRA is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, evaluating technology trade-offs and making informed decisions that align with project constraints.
  • Collaborate directly with clients, business leaders, and process owners to lead projects, facilitating business process analysis sessions and developing key solution components.
  • Guide clients towards utilizing standard out-of-the-box software functionalities to fulfill business requirements, while understanding platform limitations and proposing alternative designs.
  • Provide pre-sales support as needed and participate in potential customer proof of concept (POC) initiatives.
  • Lead and facilitate design and modeling sessions with clients to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Oversee the creation of project deliverables, focusing on both functional and technical design aspects.
  • Act as a Salesforce CPQ product specialist within the organization and the industry, engaging in community participation and speaking at industry events.
  • Assist in establishing a Salesforce CPQ center of excellence as part of our client’s Salesforce Quote-to-Cash practice.
  • Design, supervise, and implement technical configurations using Configuration product tools and scripting technologies.
  • Develop and test advanced Quote and Product Configuration integrations with Salesforce.
  • Coordinate developer tasks on larger projects as needed and lead design and code reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide guidance on all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the implications of Salesforce CPQ.
  • Mentor and guide the CPQ Practice team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
