Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Culinary Operations Supervisor to become a vital part of our dynamic team at Templeton Landing, a renowned venue in the Buffalo area. The Culinary Operations Supervisor will primarily oversee food preparation and production, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage food production processes, ensuring compliance with recipes and quality standards.
  • Support the Executive Chef in various projects and assume their responsibilities during their absence.
  • Ensure safe operation of kitchen equipment and adherence to food safety protocols.
  • Guide and assist kitchen staff in all facets of food preparation.
  • Maintain sanitation and nutrition practices throughout the kitchen.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Executive Chef or General Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and time management.
  • Ability to interact effectively with various management levels.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and local health department standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to company uniform standards.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires light physical work, including prolonged standing and walking, with occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
