As a Lead Business Consultant within Innovation Services, you will operate under the guidance of the Manager, Innovation Services to offer confidential counsel and insights to executive leadership regarding operations, strategic projects, business process enhancements, outcomes, and implementation strategies for business or technical transformation initiatives.

Utilizing your research capabilities, business acumen, project management skills, change management expertise, and proficiency in business process optimization, you will assist executive leadership in making informed decisions, resolving challenges, and setting strategic direction.

In this capacity, you will identify business and technical enhancement opportunities that will boost operational efficiency and provide value to the organization.

In this position, you will primarily operate from a designated office, with the option to work remotely as needed.

What You Will Do As a Lead Business Consultant, you will:
- Develop and assess alternatives, engage in ongoing evaluation and enhancement to create solutions, and guide sound decisions regarding processes, while maintaining financial prudence, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Spearhead strategic planning efforts with divisional and departmental business units.
- Organize, schedule tasks, facilitate discussions, and formulate realistic action plans while being mindful of competing priorities, time constraints, resource availability, and confidentiality.
- Formulate change management strategies and oversee change initiatives to implement business solutions.
- Analyze organizational challenges, plan, research, and present solutions to senior management.
- Interpret financial policies and technical documents, assess facts, and provide impartial, systematic, well-reasoned recommendations.
- Anticipate and prepare for future organizational and stakeholder requirements while evaluating new technologies that may assist in fulfilling those needs.

- Offer expert advice to executive leadership on business process improvement initiatives, engage in the implementation of business process modifications, and assess the impacts of new or altered business models.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of current business operations and deliver thorough, objective analyses using all available data to determine optimal efficiency from various perspectives, ensuring process effectiveness.
- Perform client and stakeholder impact assessments, training needs evaluations, and client working group planning, documentation, and scheduling.
- Identify risks to the organization and stakeholders; provide management with guidance on issues related to business continuity planning.
- Create and present reports to senior management and stakeholders on critical issues, priorities, and initiatives.
Your Qualifications and Experience
- A master's degree in business administration or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation is advantageous.
