Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sales Territory Expansion Lead. You will work closely with our Clinical Diabetes Specialist to develop and execute territory plans, build strong relationships with healthcare providers, and drive the adoption of our innovative products in western Washington. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to mentor junior staff, participate in internal advisory boards, and contribute to the growth and development of our company.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Developing effective territory planning strategies with the CDS to meet/exceed territory goals
2. Building strong customer relationships and influencing healthcare providers to prescribe Sequel products for people with diabetes
3. Driving continued adoption and growth of Sequel products by facilitating a successful product experience for both healthcare providers and product users
4. Consistently exhibiting a high level of proficiency and expertise in discussing and demonstrating Sequel products, as well as expertise in diabetes and therapeutic options for diabetes care
5. Collaborating with customer care and sales support to optimize the user experience
6. Communicating HCP feedback cross-functionally to solve problems and improve product development
7. Representing Sequel products at conventions and educational forums to increase product awareness
8. Managing all leads and opportunities in customer relations database daily and submitting product training documentation as required
9. Maintaining a high profile with state and local patient advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
• A Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of sales success
• Valid driver's license
• For the Senior TBL role: 4+ years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industries with a demonstrated history of sales success; Experience in diabetes and selling automated insulin devices preferred
Salary and Benefits
The total base salary and target incentive compensation for this position is $185,000 - $215,000 annually (based on the achievement of goals). We offer a comprehensive benefits package, PTO, a car allowance and gas reimbursement, and significant opportunities for career growth and advancement.
