Overview:
At Fifth Third Bank, we strive to enhance the banking experience for our customers. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Lead Customer Service Representative.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Deliver exceptional service in every customer interaction. Direct customers to the right business partner for a detailed discussion. Handle the most intricate responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative, utilizing significant independent judgment.

Ensure that actions and decisions consistently prioritize the best interests of customers and colleagues, fostering a positive experience.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Engagement:
Build strong relationships by understanding and addressing customer needs with sincerity.
Provide timely follow-ups to inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
Maintain open lines of communication through prompt responses.
Uphold confidentiality in all customer dealings.
Adhere to the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics along with related policies.

Operational Duties:
Work closely with the Financial Center Manager to ensure monthly cash counts are conducted.
Collaborate with the Financial Center Manager to compile and report monthly FCA requests.
Execute daily office tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Keep a balancing record in accordance with established policies.
Stay informed about bank policies and financial center procedures.
Assist in onboarding and training new Customer Service Representatives.

Referral Management:
During customer interactions, assess needs and connect customers with Bankers and other business partners.
Develop and maintain a solid understanding of Retail products and services.
Utilize the appropriate tools for all referrals directed to personal bankers and business partners.

Perform additional duties as required.

SUPERVISORY ROLE:
No supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience with cash handling is essential.
In-depth knowledge of retail banking policies and procedures is necessary.
Ability to engage comfortably and confidently with the public.

Flexibility in scheduling is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Standard office setting with extensive computer screen usage.
