This role is pivotal in a customer-oriented, hands-on capacity within a developing Automotive Quality division of a rapidly expanding semiconductor integrated circuit company.

The primary duties involve collaborating effectively with various Engineering, Production, Business units, and other Quality Assurance teams to ensure prompt responses and efficient resolution of customer quality inquiries, including managing field returns, 8D reports, and audit assistance.

The individual will engage with numerous internal departments, as well as directly with clients, to address requests and oversee customer quality matters.

As such, candidates should possess a robust background in quality and engineering, complemented by strong teamwork and communication abilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer quality requirements, inquiries, and issues.
  • Conduct quality issue diagnosis and root-cause analysis in collaboration with Failure Analysis and other teams, actively contributing as a hands-on participant for designated customer accounts.
  • Oversee automotive customer audits at both headquarters and other locations, acting as the customer-facing representative for the organization and its subcontractors.
  • Draft Failure Analysis reports and co-develop 8D reports while managing communications with customers.

Requirements: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Semiconductor IC Engineering and Quality roles, with proven customer-facing skills.

Experience in at least two of the following domains: Customer Quality Engineering, Quality Management Systems, PCN Administration, Automotive Quality, Reliability Engineering, Failure Analysis, Product Engineering, and Production Quality Control within the Semiconductor IC sector.


Qualifications:

Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, critical aspects of integrated circuit testing, and the correlation between ATE testing and device performance and quality.

Comprehensive knowledge of IC silicon/package failure mechanisms, reliability, and failure analysis processes, including testing tools and reporting methodologies.

Practical skills in quality tools and methodologies, statistical analysis, and structured problem-solving techniques.

Proactively facilitate issue resolution as a seasoned team player with exceptional communication skills, capable of managing sensitive and proprietary information effectively.

Strong influencing and negotiation skills to navigate challenging situations and deliver difficult news.
