Customer Engagement Specialist

Midway Nissan is on the lookout for a dedicated individual to become a part of our Service Team as a Customer Engagement Specialist. This role focuses on scheduling appointments for our service department, primarily utilizing phone and email communication. While prior experience in the automotive industry is not mandatory, we value candidates who embody our principles of integrity, excellence, collaboration, dedication, and knowledge. - Conduct 100 calls and engage in 20 meaningful conversations daily to arrange appointments
- Proactively promote and identify opportunities to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Collaborate closely with the BDC Manager and fellow BDC team members to ensure service leads are managed effectively, scheduled promptly, and accurately documented in the CRM
- Engage with customers to discern their unique needs and opportunities
- Complete phone calls as directed by the BDC Manager
- Contribute as a member of the BDC team, including cross-training for internet leads and both incoming and outgoing phone prospecting roles
- Stay updated on new products, features, accessories, and their advantages for customers
- Participate in product and sales training as requested by the BDC
- Maintain a professional appearance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Strong writing skills for creating reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and advertising content
- Presentation skills to convey information and address inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Mathematical skills to compute figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Capability to interpret and follow instructions presented in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule formats
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
