Summary:

The Sales Associate serves as an entry-level role focused on the processing and management of customer orders and quotations. This position plays a crucial role in collaborating with internal sales teams, merchandising departments, and clients to guarantee an exceptional customer experience. The Sales Associate is also tasked with effective communication with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Input customer orders into the order management system.
  2. Ensure that special pricing arrangements are accurately established for orders with pricing deviations.
  3. Engage with customers and merchandising teams to address and resolve order-related issues.
  4. Provide customers with tracking information and estimated delivery times.
  5. Prioritize and escalate orders as needed to fulfill customer expectations.
  6. Enhance customer experience by offering visibility into order status.
  7. Identify potential challenges with orders proactively to ensure seamless processing.
  8. Make necessary price and cost adjustments.
  9. Deliver outstanding service to POS Portal customers by exceeding their expectations through effective communication and dedication to their needs.

Reporting Structure:

Direct supervision from the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Previous experience in customer service.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Proven track record of achieving results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities.

Preferred:

  • Fluency in a foreign language (Spanish, Portuguese, French, German).
  • Experience with order management systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain seated at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to be present at the designated workstation during standard business hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
