Your Role as a Marketing Product Manager

The Marketing Product Manager for our Site and Mobile App will oversee the creation and implementation of marketing communications presented to customers on our digital platforms.

This role involves understanding, refining, and prioritizing campaign initiatives while continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the campaign workflow.

Collaboration is key; you will build strong relationships with marketing operations, campaign leaders, and product teams to ensure a streamlined campaign process that maximizes value for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a central figure in delivering innovative products that enhance customer experiences and meet their needs.
  • Serve as a servant leader, providing guidance and mentorship to team members without direct managerial authority.
  • Ensure that product features and processes comply with Discover's regulatory, compliance, and risk management standards.
  • Lead Agile methodologies, including sprints and retrospectives, to keep the product backlog updated.
  • Implement testing frameworks for product features to validate market performance and functionality.
  • Manage project scope, deliverables, and timelines through effective communication and visual structuring of complex information.
  • Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional partners to evaluate and enhance assigned products and programs.
  • Proactively manage and escalate risks and issues that may impact customers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

Approximately 4+ years of experience in Product Management or Engineering within the Financial Services or Technology sectors, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.

Certification in Product Ownership and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Adobe Target, and Adobe Workfront are preferred.
