Job Summary

The California Highway Patrol is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical tasks related to the processing of CHP 180, Vehicle Report forms and associated paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
  • Perform data entry and typing tasks with high accuracy and speed
  • Assist with the completion of monthly vehicle theft reports and uniform crime reports
  • Provide administrative support to the Office Services Supervisor and other team members
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
