Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular security foot patrols to ensure a visible presence while on duty.
  • Document all incidents, report suspicious activities, and identify safety and fire hazards during shifts.
  • Assist customers, employees, vendors, and visitors in accordance with established Site Post Orders and protocols.
  • May assume Shift Lead responsibilities as directed by the Account Manager or Assistant Account Manager under limited supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid CA BSIS Guard Card.
  • Reliable means of transportation.
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Availability to work second or third shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with personnel and the public.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
  • Capability to prepare written reports and logs in clear, legible handwriting; computer skills may be required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend all operational procedures and instructions.
  • Physical capability to perform essential job functions, including conducting hourly foot patrols and using all senses to identify potential risks or hazards.
  • Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to give and receive instructions and utilize smartphones.

As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
