Job Summary

This role provides administrative support to the Young Life field ministry area office, ensuring efficient and organized operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various tasks, including communication, data entry, and event coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication and Data Management: Respond to correspondence, maintain databases, and update records in a timely and professional manner.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute area meetings, banquets, and other events, including invitations, sponsor packets, and donor recognition.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to area staff and volunteers on various administrative tasks and processes.
  • Financial Management: Process donations, track expenses, and maintain financial records.
  • Human Resources: Manage staff vacation, sick, and personal days, submit timesheets, and complete personnel action requests.
Requirements
  • Education: High school education or equivalent, with an associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Previous administrative assistant experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong organizational skills.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Working Conditions

This role is based in an office environment, with regular working hours of 9:00 am-1:00 pm, Monday-Wednesday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for events and meetings.
