Position Overview:

The Middlesex Corporation, a prominent entity in the heavy civil construction sector, is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator. This role is vital in ensuring the proficient and safe operation of machinery within our asphalt plant operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to and actively promote all safety protocols, ensuring the reporting of any accidents or near misses to uphold our core value of safety.
  • Complete daily equipment condition assessments and provide a checklist of tasks to the Project Superintendent.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment, including regular interior cleaning and lubrication of moving parts.
  • Understand and comply with all safety policies, ensuring awareness of utility locations within the work area.
  • Communicate daily fuel requirements to the Superintendent to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Document any supply needs for equipment maintenance and inform the Superintendent accordingly.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in civil construction.
  • Proficient in operating Loaders, Excavators, Skid Steers, and Dozers.
  • Experience in asphalt plant operations is preferred.
