Position Overview:

The Middlesex Corporation, a leader in the heavy civil construction sector, is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. This role is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of machinery within our asphalt production facilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and actively promote a culture of safety by reporting any incidents or near misses.
  • Complete daily equipment condition assessments and submit reports to the Project Superintendent.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machinery, including regular interior cleaning and lubrication of components.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and be aware of utility locations within the work area.
  • Communicate equipment fuel requirements to the Superintendent to ensure operational readiness.
  • Request necessary supplies for equipment maintenance and report any needs for cleaning or servicing.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a construction environment.
  • Proficient in operating Loaders, Excavators, Skid Steers, and Dozers.
  • Experience in asphalt plant operations is preferred.
