Job Summary:

NV5, a leading provider of engineering and consulting services, is seeking a skilled Asphalt Plant Inspector to support our continuing services contracts for Turnpike and various FDOT districts. As an Asphalt Plant Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of asphalt products and services delivered to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and inspect asphalt plant operations to ensure compliance with specifications and quality control plans.
  • Verify the accuracy of quality control test results and report any deviations from specifications.
  • Observe and document sampling processes and testing procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Perform comparison testing to ensure compliance with laboratory precision values.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as civil engineering or materials science.
  • Valid driver's license and high school diploma required.
  • Asphalt Plant 1 and 2 certifications are a plus.
