About the Role

Tanium is seeking a highly experienced Regional Sales Director to lead our sales team in the Chicago area. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and delivering technology solutions tailored to customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and lead a team of up to 8 Directors of Strategic Accounts (DSAs) to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for regional accounts, working closely with Tanium's Partner and Channel resources.
  • Maintain awareness of contractual obligations and facilitate customer meetings and communications as needed.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales talent to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience selling to named accounts within the territory.
  • 5-10+ years of proven sales leadership experience with a reputable software company.
  • Deep knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape and network operations environment.
  • History of exceptional quota attainment and a strong track record of closing deals.
  • Knowledge and passion for reporting metrics and driving business growth.
  • Enterprise sales experience with a strong network of decision-makers.
  • 'Whatever it takes' attitude and motivation to achieve above-quota performance.
