About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to lead our Pricing and Revenue Growth team at Academia. This team is responsible for driving revenue growth initiatives, including global pricing strategies, payment infrastructure, and customer retention. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and be able to develop solutions that optimize revenue internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and prioritize the product roadmap for the Pricing and Revenue Growth team
  • Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, and data to drive business outcomes
  • Ideate and oversee the development of new features and techniques to enhance revenue growth
  • Utilize product metrics to inform decision-making and evaluate success
  • Craft product requirements for MVPs and feature enhancements
  • Contribute to the overall product strategy and drive business impact

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2C online product management
  • Proven expertise in working on B2C products serving millions of users
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • A previous stint working in monetization-related growth work (pricing, payments, subscriptions, product marketing through checkout, churn reactivation)
  • Technical understanding and ability to engage in high-level technical discussions
  • Demonstrated ability to make a significant business impact
  • Customer-centric approach with a knack for data-driven validation
  • Extensive experience with A/B testing
  • Startup experience is essential

  • Experience in Edtech or Academia
  • A stint in growth-stage tech companies during a 'high-growth' period, particularly B2C subscription businesses
  • Previous experience working in growth (product) functions
