About the Position
The role of a Product Manager at Envoy involves influencing, motivating, and guiding teams to develop products and features that customers appreciate and utilize, while also positively impacting Envoy's business objectives. We aim to cultivate informed and inspired teams, as we believe that the best solutions emerge from collaboration rather than from a single individual. In this capacity, you will serve as a leader, facilitator, orchestrator, and team member.
As the Senior Product Manager for Growth, your primary goal is to enhance the growth of our self-service business model and transform how our customers engage with and gain value from our offerings. You will spearhead the creation of seamless, user-friendly, and highly effective self-service experiences that empower users to achieve their objectives independently. Your responsibilities will include translating data insights into actionable strategies that boost user engagement, conversion rates, and retention. You will advocate for a culture of experimentation, fostering rapid learning and iteration throughout the organization.
Your role will encompass building, nurturing, and establishing a world-class, insight-driven Growth team tasked with defining and executing a backlog of experiments aimed at enhancing prioritized metrics and user experiences, focusing on areas such as Acquisition, Activation, Retention/Engagement, and Monetization.
Key Responsibilities- Growth Strategy: Formulate and implement a comprehensive growth strategy aimed at increasing the adoption of our freemium product, enhancing user engagement, and optimizing conversion rates.
- Product Analytics: Utilize data to pinpoint key metrics, monitor performance, and guide decision-making. Continuously assess user behavior to identify growth opportunities and refine the user journey across the funnel.
- Experimentation: Design and execute A/B tests, experiments, and growth initiatives to boost user acquisition, retention, and monetization. Adopt a test-and-learn methodology to swiftly validate concepts.
- User Journey Optimization: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to enhance the self-service funnel, minimize friction, and create seamless onboarding experiences that convert free users into paying customers.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside marketing, sales, and customer success teams to align growth initiatives with overarching company objectives. Engage closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on critical goals.
- Product Roadmap: Collect and analyze customer feedback while collaborating with other product teams to create product roadmaps that drive growth.
- Market Research: Remain informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to uncover new growth opportunities.
- Revenue Growth: Concentrate on driving revenue growth by enhancing conversion rates from free to paid users, increasing upsell opportunities, and refining pricing strategies.
- Minimum of 5 years in a Product Growth role with direct experience in scaling B2B SaaS.
- Demonstrated success in driving substantial growth within a SaaS environment, particularly with freemium models.
- Proven ability to build and optimize product-led growth and product-led sales mechanisms.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience in data-driven decision-making. Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
- Track record of achieving ambitious goals and consistently making a significant impact on key business and product metrics. Capable of transforming ambiguous challenges and large ideas into a structured roadmap of features, experiments, and research with minimal oversight.
- Deep understanding of how products operate and influence key business metrics such as ACV, LTV, User Retention, Revenue Retention, Self-Serve New & Upgrade ARR, Activation, Engagement, Signups, etc.
- Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and optimization methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels.
- Passionate about user experience and customer-centric product development.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, problem-solving, process-building, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong bias for action.
