Guest Services Coordinator - Front Desk Operations

As a Guest Services Coordinator, you will represent the hotel, ensuring that guests enjoy a smooth and comfortable experience from arrival to departure.

  • Manage guest bookings and oversee the check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to maintain accurate room status and address maintenance issues.
  • Assist with unique guest requests while ensuring secure handling of keys and safe deposit boxes.
  • Employ suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest experiences through room upgrades and additional hotel services.
  • Work in conjunction with the reservations team to handle same-day bookings and cancellations efficiently.
  • Adhere to established credit, cash-handling, and check-cashing protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

Qualifications:

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency in the primary languages spoken by guests and staff is essential.

Experience:
Previous experience in a hospitality environment is preferred.

Physical Demands:
Ability to perform various physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting items up to 40 pounds.
