Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to oversee the execution of milling and paving projects. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of construction operations and specifications, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise field employees and manage subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with customers and sales personnel to deliver high-quality results that meet or exceed expectations.
- Conduct thorough investigations of work sites prior to mobilization to ensure preparedness.
- Order construction materials and track quantities to verify usage is in accordance with budgeted quantities.
- Engage with Quality Control staff to ensure work product meets specifications.
- Protect the safety and well-being of employees and customers by promoting a safety-oriented culture and adhering to OSHA and company safety standards.
- Develop and implement effective project plans to ensure successful project delivery.
- Review employee time sheets for accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies.
- 5+ years of relevant construction experience.
- Extensive knowledge of construction operations and specifications.
- Ability to read plans and specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic PC skills, including email and spreadsheet applications.
