Position Overview

The Employee Benefits Coordinator will play a vital role in the execution, management, and oversight of the Total Rewards benefit programs, policies, and plans for North End Teleservices, LLC. This position is essential in ensuring that all benefit offerings are administered in accordance with established guidelines, regulatory standards, and financial constraints. Our organization offers a comprehensive suite of benefits and rewards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to facilitate all benefit-related payment and reimbursement processes.
  • Gather and analyze data regarding hiring costs and timeframes.
  • Oversee the management of the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Develop practices for assessing current benefit programs against industry benchmarks to evaluate competitiveness and trends.
  • Ensure that total rewards initiatives are equitable, align with organizational objectives, comply with legal standards, and are financially sustainable.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to identify opportunities for enhancing and revising total rewards programs or introducing new options that align with the strategic goals of North End Teleservices.
  • Act as the primary liaison with benefit brokers, strategic partners, and third-party administrators regarding all benefit offerings.
  • Lead the evaluation process for benefits prior to making decisions for annual renewals.
  • Plan and coordinate communications for open enrollment.
  • Manage programs including ACA Reporting, accommodations, Health & Welfare SCA benefit requirements, retirement plans, worker's compensation, COBRA, and more.
  • Oversee the administration of benefits and monitor employee leave and usage of leave benefits.
  • Utilize benefit participation and enrollment data to provide insights to executive leadership and manage employee feedback to enhance benefit offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for internal HRIS partners regarding system updates and customizations.
  • Manage corporate insurance obligations.
  • Provide support to both internal and external customers with a focus on customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a role focused on employer total rewards and benefits management.
  • At least 2 years' experience in benefits administration, human resources, or a similar capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of COBRA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA regulations.
  • Familiarity with Davis Bacon, SCA, and prevailing wage requirements is advantageous.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CEBS accreditation is required.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in project management and planning is preferred.
  • Experience with HCM platforms is a plus.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
