We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director, Business Operations and Excellence Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Strategy & Business Operations Lead in the US Oncology Business Unit (US OBU) at Takeda.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the US OBU strategy and enhance capabilities that drive Takeda Oncology's performance and operational excellence.
- Support the Strategy & Business Operations Lead in the development and execution of strategic plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiencies.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas to streamline current processes and align with industry best practice.
- Manage the US Oncology BU planning calendar in partnership with the US OBU colleagues, reflecting the Brand and US Oncology key milestones.
- Proactively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on problem-solving initiatives to optimize processes and handle day-to-day challenges.
- Provide project management support, including tracking key initiatives, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion, working closely with different departments.
- Assist in cross-functional projects by coordinating efforts across various teams, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
- Aid in managing and improving systems, platforms, and workflows that support US OBU.
- Support roles in managing meetings, events, sponsorships, employee engagements, field, and fleet services.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field; Advanced degree preferred.
- 6-8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or a highly regulated industry, with at least 3-5 years in strategic planning or business operations.
- Ability to prioritize high-volume workload based on challenges and business needs, with minimal supervision, working with a sense of urgency and efficiency.
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong project management skills with experience in overseeing complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Exceptional ability to work closely with senior leadership and provide thoughtful, data-driven advice.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel), digital tools, and technologies, with knowledge of digital transformation and leveraging AI in operations being a significant plus.
